BUSINESS PLAN AND METHODOLOGY

trees

On the basis of the work done thanks to the involvement of and feedback from key market actors through the RSCs, together with the lessons learned from other experiences and the training gained, we will be able to support interested market players in developing business plans for the creation of at least one energy facility (+supply chain) in each participating area.

The beneficiaries will be selected in a transparent way and, for any potential contractor, usual tendering rules will be applied. From this activity we will then be able to provide guidelines for the replication of similar facilities in the future and in other places. Besides, we will also be able to define policy recommendations for politicians and administrators, which would enable an easiest replication.

Main outcomes of this activity:

  • Business plans for energy facilities exploiting olive-milling residues for energy
  • Methodological approach and policy recommendations for promotion of future replication of the experience carried out
