This activity addresses the olive oil production sector (olive millers) need to increase skills and expertise in the field of innovation, technology, energy, product differentiation, marketing, also taking into consideration the experiences already carried out. To this end, we will not only organise and offer training sessions, but we will also analyse national and international best practices.

We also foresee the organization of an international field trip for the project partners and of national field trips in each participating country in order to actually see “shining examples” and learn from successful experiences.

Main outcomes of this activity:

  • Increased knowledge and expertise for project partners and market operators
  • Identification of market players willing to invest in the energy use of olive residues
