Presentation on VINISTRA – Vinistra exhibition of wine and winemaking equipment is a regional and international exhibition of wine, winegrowing and winemaking equipment. The exhibition is traditionally held in Poreč. Every year the interest for this exhibition is greater, both for its competitive and its exhibition part, which confirms its importance. Apart from wine, Vinistra hosts the evaluation of olive oil, brandies and pršut (cured ham). During the four exhibition days a dozen thousand wine lovers taste and research the Istrian world of wine. In February REACM_Anatoliki S.A communicated with key players in the region of Lesvos and organized five meetings there with the:
1. Union of Agricultural Co‐operatives of Lesvos (LESEL),
2. LESEL’s Olive Pomace Oil Process Unit
3. Waste Management Laboratory
4. Union of Private olive Mills of Lesvos,
5. Olive Pomace Oil Process Unit of Dipi

April 2008
In April REACM_Anatoliki S.A communicated with key players in the region of Chania (Crete) and organized four meetings there with the:

October 2008
In October REACM_Anatoliki S.A organized a meeting with RSC members and also the first training session (module 1) took place on October 16th 2008. The title of the training session was: “The use of olive solid residues for energy production”.The objectives of the 1st session were:
-Diffusion of “MORE” project objectives and expected results
-The potential of energy generation from olive by-products.
-New techniques in olive tree cultivation.
-Best Cases from other countries.

January 2009
In January 2009 REACM_Anatoliki S.A met politicians from the olive growing municipality of Agios Georgios near Thessaloniki in order to disseminate objectives of the project.
March 2009
In March 2009 REACM_Anatoliki S.A submitted a paper on "The energy management of olive solid waste" for presentation at the CEMEPE 2009 International Conference on Environmental Management, Engineering, Planning and Economics to be held at Mykonos island on June (21-26) 2009.

April 2009
In April 2009 Dr.Konstantinou, Director of REACM and project manager of the project was conducted on Expert mission on Common Market Organization on Olive Oil and Table Olives, taking place in Tirana from 15 to 17 of April 2009, where he disseminate objectives and so far results of the project.
October 2009
The second training session (module 2 & 3) took place on October 12th 2009
The title of the training session was: “The exploitation of the local olive solid residues and the elaboration of a business plan”. The objectives of the 2nd session were:
-Presentation of a Business Plan for the area of Chania, Crete
-Methodology of the pellet production process.
The final RSC meeting was held at Chania on October 12th 2009 after the final training session. The aim of the meeting was to present to the stakeholders: the available amounts of the olive residues to be used as an energy source in the region by three suggested exploitation methods: Combustion, Cogeneration & Pelletization.
February 2010
A National Greek Conference on “Solid Waste Fuels from Olive residues Biomass" was held on February 5, 2010 in Thessaloniki by REACM, during the 23rd International Fair for Agricultural Machinery, Equipment & Supplies (AGROTICA 2010).
The aim of the Conference was to welcome views an positions on the potential of energy utilization of olive residues and the alternative of transforming them into pellets for direct combustion. Olive millers from the olive growing region of Chalkidiki and neighbouring municipalities (of the region of Central Macedonia), with significant amounts in olive residues, agricultural associations, agricultural scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs and policy makers participated in the conference.
A field trip for the RSC members took place on February 4th 2010. The site to be visited decided by the RSC members to be a visit to the pelletization plant of Kopano,Naousa . Pelletization could enhance the opportunities of exploiting the olive residues such as depleted pomace and pruning.
